Product manager for Full Frontal's election experiments, including the Totally Unrigged Primary, a digital primary ahead of the 2020 Iowa caucus where players joined a candidate's team and the winner took the show's PAC fund. I also appeared on air.
Working with Sam Bee was probably the most fun I've ever had at work. The energy in the writers' room, where you could truly say anything, was unlike the constrained NGO and corporate worlds I had spent so much time in. People regularly peed themselves because they laughed so hard.
Adding all that funny to a mission to reach people around the elections was an amazing challenge — and we got to invent how to deliver punchlines in apps, which was a whole different type of comedy, where you had to worry about latency stepping on your jokes.
